Mr. Kavin A. Andi is an award-winning UK accredited Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial/ Head and Neck Surgeon and Clinical Director of The London Head & Neck
Clinic.

Mr Andi has a special interest in Head & Neck Surgery and Reconstruction and was ranked first in the UK amongst maxillofacial, plastic and ear, nose and throat surgeons for the prestigious UK Interface Head & Neck Fellowships by the Joint Committee for Higher Surgical Training.

Mr Andi’s private practice also incorporates the management of wisdom teeth, dental implants, salivary gland disease and fractures to facial skeleton. A leading expert on 3D planning for facial reconstruction Mr Andi is past President of The Institute of Reconstructive Sciences and has presented his work at national and international scientific meetings. His specialist research interests include vision assistive technologies, artificial intelligence and robotic surgery for which he is the recipient of awards from the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and The International Association for Surgical Prosthetics and Epithetics.

Mr Andi holds a unique position in London as the only Maxillofacial Surgeon commended for a Top Doctor’s Award two years in a row! Mr Andi’s clinical work at St George’s Hospital, London, has also been recognised in the form of a Clinical Excellence Award.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
After completing dual qualifications in medicine and dentistry at Bart’s and The London Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, Mr Andi undertook his basic surgical training in Essex and then returned to the London Deanery Higher Surgical Training Programme in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at The Royal London Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Luton and Dunstable Hospital, University College London and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital.

Following his FRCS award, he was ranked first in the UK by the Joint Committee for Higher Surgical Training at an interview for the Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Training Fellowship Programme. This was successfully completed at Guys’ Hospital, alongside the award of Fellowship of The Higher Education Academy. Mr Andi’s areas of interest include augmented reality, robotic surgery and 3D virtual surgical planning, for which he was award the prestigious 2012 Norman Rowe Clinical Prize by the British Association of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons.

Mr Andi is the recipient of a Clinical Excellence Award from St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (2015), the J.N. Kidd award from the Institute of Reconstructive Sciences 2016, and the Annual College Prize in Clinical Dentitistry awarded by the University of London, 1997.

Mr Andi has carried out pioneering research at St George’s, University of London Medical School where he is also an honorary senior clinical lecturer. He is a core member of the Head & Neck and Skin Cancer tumour boards and past President of The Institute of Reconstructive Sciences in conjunction with his role as a faculty member of The London Deanery School of Surgery and Regional Speciality Advisor to The Royal College of Surgeons.

Mr Andi collaborates with several team members who have specific expertise in Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery, Facial Deformity Surgery, Radiology, Cosmetic Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Dietetics.
