Dr Ionel Nistor

Dr. Ionel Nistor qualified in 2011 from the University of Iasi, Romania. After 2 years of
hospital training, he came to London and worked in general dental practice, undertaking a
wide variety of dental treatments mainly in the private sector. Since then, he completed
many post-graduate courses, always striving to enhance his skills in the field of oral surgery,
implantology and restorative dentistry.

He is passionate about implantology offering his patients excellent natural-looking solutions
to replace their lost teeth. He did his training with the prestigious VSS Academy (London),
being able to treat both simple and advanced implant cases, with or without guided bone
regeneration (GBR) techniques.

He also completed a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry – Oral Surgery with the BPP University
(London), being able to get referrals of more complex surgical procedures such as staged
block grafting, sinus lifting or full arch implant rehabilitations (all-on-x protocol).

He is very meticulous in his work, paying close attention to details and enjoys treating more
comprehensive cases. He is an active member of International Team for Implantology (ITI),
always being up to date with the latest evidence-based treatments.
His engaging and friendly nature will make even the most nervous patient feeling at ease in
the dental chair. He is very approachable and understanding and can tailor his
recommended treatments according to every patient individual needs.
Besides dentistry he enjoys travelling with his wife, swimming, running, cycling, and playing
table tennis. He also loves snowboarding in the winter season.
